I have tried everything to log into the "disconnected" login page and the account was locked "for security".
I need a copy of my Device Payment Buyout Charge Agreement, but I cannot login or find a way to unlock the account.
Can a Verizon representative open a case for me? I can't get chat assistance because I am not able to sign in at all.

Yes. I did use the same login information and tried to enter using the info for more than one line but was not able to sign in.

Hi Natasha,
Unfortunately my account has been locked. Previously when I tried to use the URL you mentioned the system was not accepting my Zip Code, even through it was the correct one. I tried some other older Zip Codes because that was confusing and I believe that locked the account. I called CS and they told me I had the correct zip code. So now when I try this URL my account is locked.

My account is disconnected because I was out of the country, and I found out that you apparently can't make payments through the app while abroad. Now that I’m back, I’m trying to resolve this situation, but when I go to the 'Sign in to a disconnected mobile account' webpage, it says the information doesn’t match. I can’t call because my account isn’t working, and I can’t get chat assistance since I’m unable to sign in. What am I supposed to do?

@vzw_customer_support: From my own experience, NONE of the means which supposedly allow someone to login to a disconnected account work. I've posted about this in other threads as well. I am obviously able to login, but only because I ported back to Verizon after a disastrous short-lived move to another carrier.
Somebody somewhere within the company clearly has access to disconnected accounts otherwise, as postpaid accounts are all held in "winback" status for 45 or 60 (?) days after someone ports out, and people who fail to pay their bills after jumping ship eventually get their account sent to collections. So why is it that we customers are not able to login to anything at all with our account if we leave?
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

So that we can lift up your prior experience, when previously signing in with a disconnected account, was the Account Owner's user ID and password being used to sign in to My Verizon? After an account is disconnected, the mobile number can no longer be used for signing in.

I can't remember exactly what I was doing several months ago to try to login while not being a Verizon customer, but I seem to recall getting the ZIP code request others were talking about and got the same error messages mentioned earlier in the thread and not being able to login. But I think I also tried my forum username and it didn't work. Because I'm here pretty much daily on the forums, I was also getting email notifications from the forums and wasn't able to login to the forums either under my forum username, which is the only other thing I can think of when you're referring to "user ID"?
Incidentally, I've also never been able to login to the forums with the "login as Community Member only" link using my username and password. Have to go through My Verizon.

I have called CS several times and attempted to explain that there is a URL for disconnected accounts. They have offered no support or solutions to be able to access the disconnected account. Nor do they have any information on what it means to have your disconnected account locked. Furthermore the system was not recognizing my valid Zip Code. This seems like a bug / functionality issue that no one is taking responsibility for. The only solution offered is to go to the store, further eating everyones time.

@anotherdisconnectedcustomer the URL you're talking about doesn't work. It's probably the same one that "login to a disconnected mobile account" link takes you to when you get the error message on My Verizon. I tried that one several months ago myself while "away" and that didn't work either. The CS reps you were speaking to were probably overseas and either don't have much access to anything Verizon, or else when they tried to access your account, were also getting the same error message.
Why Verizon's IT can't provide some kind of limited account access after someone leaves??? At least let people view their bills, even if final bills are always mailed via snail mail. Besides, we could always decide to come back, and alienating us can't be helping Verizon with winbacks, or recommendations to others to use Verizon!

I appreciate all the steps you've already taken to help get this resolved anotehrdisconnectedcustomer. Typically, when an account is locked it requires a password reset to unlock the account, which you can't do through the disconnected account log in page. I would be happy to assist with this, and since we will need account access, please be on the lookout for a private message from us.

Thanks @SynthpopAddict , I guess I'll just wait for the paper bill to come in the mail. @vzw_customer_support why does a link to access disconnected accounts exist, if it doesn't work for anyone? Sounds like a BUG

You're welcome. As for the busted link(s), there have been some changes behind the scenes with logging in. For example, I've been having to jump through an extra hoop before I can access the forums these days. (Not a typical 2FA thing either, long story.) I suspect that Verizon has become so heavily segmented that one hand doesn't know what the other one is doing.
Hopefully your final bill will not have any surprises on it.

NY6642 while it's sad you're no longer with us, for sure want to make sure you can get the support you need. With you previous account, was it a cellular one with us? Or was it a FiOS/residental one? No details needed, I'm just trying to get a sense of what service you had with us, so I can figure out the best way to assist.

I'm having this same problem. I had to move 5 lines out because I just couldnt pay that much anymore. Now when trying to login to the disconnected page, it errors out. I tried all line numbers, but nothing. I need into it so I can get the prices per phone, and the mail bill just said the full price with no details.
Any help on this would be great, @vzw_customer_support

You can't use the phone numbers to login anymore after disconnecting service. A Verizon rep said somewhere that using your user ID works for the disconnected account login, but I can't confirm this. After several months, I would have to think old accounts get purged, so if it's been a long time since you were a customer, another potential reason for not being able to access an old account.
