Auto Pay Discount Never Applied

Posting this here to see if others are having the same issue as I am — I don’t feel like I’m getting anywhere at all with Verizon’s customer service.
I became a Verizon customer in June 2024 (4 months ago). I have 2 lines on my account, along with an iPad and Verizon 5G internet.
upon signing up, I immediately enrolled in Auto Pay — paperless billing is enabled and I am using a checking account (yes I’m sure, it’s not a debit card. I’m aware the discount won’t work with a debit card).
I was told the discount would likely take a month to take effect. No issues. So July comes and goes without issue. But once we get to August the discount still wasn’t there so I called into customer service. From then until today I can’t tell you how many calls I’ve made. I’ve found little to no help anywhere.
Everyone I talk to says that I *should* be receiving the discount and they’re not sure why I’m not. I’m tired of having to call in angry every month just to request a credit for what my discount should have covered.
anyone have this same issue? And if so, anyone get a real resolution?

I’ve been enrolled in Auto Pay since June. So 4 months. I’ve always had a checking*** account linked and always have had paperless billing turned on.

Use Verizon VISA CARD for auto pay

How about I don’t want a Verizon credit card and they shouldn’t have this issue for a customer using a valid checking account?

Contact your bank and find out if there were any reversed or declined transactions to Verizon. If an autopay fails to go through for some reason, the system cancels your autopay and won't let you sign back up for 6 months. Unfortunately, there's not a way for a human to override this.
If your autopay was not cancelled and just isn't happening, I would remove the payment method and then re-enter it. Maybe it's a typo with the routing or account number?

Same for me. Signed up June 2024 and still no discount for Paperless or Autopay. Also using a checking account. Was told it would be retroactive to when I signed up but I’m not holding my breath. I was also lied to by Verizon when I signed up…was told my plan would be $x and even if the discounts go through it will still be $40 more per month than what the Verizon store told me. Overall terrible customer service and I’ll be switching back to AT&T as soon as I’m out of contract. Wish I never would have left AT&T in the first place

I started autopay in July with the first autopay using a Verizon credit card on August 13th. I have not been able to get autopay discount on my four lines yet. I have been able to get my account credited for what I should have received every month. Not sure why I have to still call. Do you think a lawyer would help

Few months ago, I lost the AUTO Pay discount, I called CS, He transfer to Manger, he taught me to active the discount over the phone with my VZW account . But over the Verizon device, you may be active by yourself

May be some CS do not know how to ACTIVE it .

When Sigh in VZW account, looking --Saving details & new offers, click it , you will see AUTO Pay, you may be do it , I dont know
