Autopay not being drafted?

My autopay is set to pull on the 14th, and it’s now the 15th and the money is still in my account. I called and Verizon said there is nothing they can do to speed up the process. When do they normally take the money out?

If you're using a credit or debit card, did you check to make sure the card hasn't expired? Autopay should process on the day stated in your account, and it should say autopay is enabled or turned on if everything was set up correctly. I always get a confirmatory text when my autopay has processed. There were some changes some time ago where some payment methods aren't being accepted anymore or something like that.
If your payment still hasn't processed as of today, I'd use the one-time payment site to pay your bill so you don't get disconnected or your account suspended. Another thing is, if an autopay got declined for some reason, the system shuts off your autopay and you can't sign back up for it for 6 months. 😞
