My bill increased $836. The bill stated that it is from my calling plan. I called customer service and was told it was a billing error on their end. I was told that a promise to pay would need to be set up and was assured that this was not for me to have to pay. I got a notification that it was set up. I told them that I did not want that and to remove it and that I wanted my bill corrected. They said it would take time to do this. They assured me the promise to pay was removed and autopay as well. I am to only pay my portion of the bill. I don't understand why they would set up a promise to pay on their billing error and why they won't correct my bill.
