I went into a Verizon Store in Las Vegas after an update on my Galaxy said my SIM card wasn't working. The associate was helpful and quickly fixed the issue. He said I was eligible for a new phone and I said no, I am not ready to get one yet and left the store. This was on May 7, 2025. I then got a notice in early June to send in my phone for the trade in. After checking my on line account, I quickly canceled the order and began the series of never ending chats with customer service to find out what is going on. Now it seems they have given me a credit for the phone I didn't send in for this month of $80. My next months bill after canceling the new phone order that I didn't place will be $233. My regular bill of $73 and $160 repayment for the phone I didn't trade in. This doesn't make sense for one thing as I didn't receive $160 ever. I have spoken with 7 different associates on Chat who keep shoving me off to a different person who want to start at the beginning every single time. I am a senior citizen living on Social Security and I'm getting ripped off by Verizon. Ive been with them for 23 years and can not believe that this is how I am being treated. I have the associate who did this name, order number, location code and every I need but noone seems to care and want to help me. I have 93 chat messages and still nothing has been resolved. What do I do and where do I go from here? [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service]
