I have talked with Verizon multiple times on the phone and in chat that I couldn’t afford my phone bill with how behind it was, since I was caring for my wife and son when he was born. I asked if I could have them disconnect my service and send me a final bill, but they said my bill needed to be paid upfront. They kept my service on many months later and my bill is now around $3000. I have had Verizon for about 8-9 years now and have never been behind until recently. Does anyone know what options I have to settle this?

Have you spoken with our Financial Services department to see if you can establish a payment arrangement? They can be reached by dialing *611 directly from your Verizon phone or 866-266-1445 from any phone.
