- As loyal customer for over 20 years can someone explain to me why 1 unlimited line cost me more than my power bill each month??? Seriously I'm not much on change but this service can be replaced for a 3rd of what i pay for it and that's exactly what I intend to do

If you've only got one line, unfortunately you have to pay full price on it since you can't get a multi-line discount. And I'm suspecting you're a postpaid customer. The upside to being postpaid and on a higher-level plan like Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate is you get either top or next to top level priority on the towers, so you don't have to worry as much about slow data speeds or call quality issues if the network is busy.
There are many 3rd party budget carriers out there, but the reason why they're so cheap is because they don't have a network of their own. They are all renting network space from one or more of the 3 large carriers. The network owner doesn't have to care about these 3rd party customers much at all; it's sort of like being allowed on the playground, but you can't use any of the good toys. So service with the bargain carriers can be anything from "OK" to "Is this even working?".
It really depends on how much you use your phone and whether or not you can deal with potentially extremely slow data speeds or even losing service if the network is severely congested. If you use your phone constantly, wouldn't mess with things if you can afford it. Otherwise, try downgrading to Unlimited Welcome so you don't have to deal with tons of deprioritization and if you don't necessarily need blazing fast mid- or high-band 5G. There's also prepaid service which is cheaper than postpaid, but then you are deprioritized to all postpaid customers and as a prepaid customer myself in a good-sized town, I can attest there are times where my data crawls at snail's pace. It's still better than my budget carrier days, when I was lucky to get 5G for 5 seconds once a month and my phone would randomly go into SOS.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
