Here are a few things to check and steps to take:
- Review Your Verizon Account
- Log into your My Verizon account and check your Billing History for the exact charge details.
- See if Netflix is listed under Add-ons & Subscriptions, which could indicate ongoing billing through Verizon.
- Verify Netflix Account Billing
- If you have multiple accounts or payment methods linked to Netflix, check Netflix’s Billing page to confirm what they are charging.
- If Netflix is billing independently, Verizon should not be charging you for the same service.
- Request a Formal Investigation
- Contact Verizon Customer Support and request escalation to the Billing Resolution Team. Explain that Verizon previously confirmed the cancellation but the charges remain.
- Ask Verizon to provide a reference or confirmation number for your cancellation request.
- If Verizon insists Netflix is responsible, ask them to provide documentation proving that Netflix initiated the charges.
- Dispute the Charges with Your Payment Provider
- If Verizon and Netflix cannot resolve this, consider disputing the extra charges directly with your bank or credit card provider.
Since you've already made multiple calls, it's best to request a written confirmation from Verizon detailing the cancellation and any credits owed. Let us know how it goes—we’re here to help!
