I set up autopay on my account and forgot to move money over so that the money can be taken out. This happened 4 days before the money was even due. Verizon tried twice to pull the money while I was working. I am a bus driver and I drive a lot so I can not just pick up my phone and easily fix things while driving with 50 kids on my bus. Because of this which happened that one time my whole account was restricted to cash payments. I can not do anything but pay cash. I can not make any payment arrangements or anything. I will take my service to ATT if I have to I am over this it happened once!!! Now Iโm restricted til October when this happened in March! Someone needs to fix this because Iโm over it! I can not always make it to a Verizon store so it gets challenging! I want this fixed now! If no one fixes this Iโm moving over to ATT and eating the cost of everything!!!

Sorry to hear about your first autopay declining and hence blocking you from using autopay for 6 months. Unfortunately, that's the policy and there's not a way around the ban. Would have to think the other guys have something similar in effect, because I occasionally lurk at the competitions' websites and forums and from what I've seen, things are pretty similar everywhere. However, I did find this regarding cash payments on the website:
"You can pay your Verizon bill with cash at a Verizon store, CheckFreePay, or Western Union. You can also pay with cash at CVS and 7-Eleven. To pay at CVS or 7-Eleven, you need the barcode on page 2 of your bill."

I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Hey Abarone917, we want to make sure you do not have to worry about your payments. We will be sending you a private message and we can go from there.
