DeleteMyCollection

I was a loyal Verizon customer for years until it came time to switch providers due to a long-distance move. Like any normal person I called and closed my account with an operator over the phone I reached at 1-800-922-0204. However, little did I know that this was the start of a painful journey where Verizon would take their frustrations out on me in any way possible.

A few months after "Cancelation" I received another bill in the mail saying that I was late on my payments. I called and once again canceled my service, paying the remainder of my bill and closing the account.

Sometime later I received a collections call that I had failed to pay Verizon and close my account. They put a black stain on my credit report hitting me for over 40 points. This has greatly impacted my financial situation and I am seeking for this to be removed as soon as possible. I am heart broken, why would they do this to me?

Hello, DeleteMyCollection. Thank you so much for this info and we are truly sorry to hear you have left our services. Help is here. Just to confirm, is the account in a collections status now? If yes, we can only advise you to contact the collections agency as we do not have access to the account to further assist.
