Cannot use bank card for autopay and get the discounts anymore. We are under a 36 month contract and Verizon changed the discount rules with no notice thus violating our contract. I’ve contacted them and complained that I’m now forced to put in my bank info or get a Verizon credit card to get the discounts. I’m filing a breach of contract with the courts because of this. Years ago they changed internet . It was unlimited and they changed to a capon how many gigs .I complained about that and because I had been with Verizon for 5 years plus they kept it unlimited. Now it’s this rediculous thing. My bank card is my bank account but now instead if an instant payment like it’s ALWAYS been it’s now a 3 to 5 day wait on a bank account. Make that make sense.

There was a change to our Autopay policy in the last month. Debit cards are no longer eligible for the auto pay discount. We apologize for any inconvenience. ~Peter

Your account specialist said in was in Feb . And could not prove to me that Verizon set out notice. You violated the agreement I made when upgrading phone. I had to upgrade service, send back my paid off iPhones , agree to a 36 month service contract and stay on auto pay with was already there. Verizon violated the agreement and do that means I get to. As far as I’m concerned it’s a trade on phones so I’m only paying on the 36 month agreement for service. So since Verizon wants to breech how it’s paid and for how long then I’ll breech it and cancel the service and take my phones elsewhere.

We would be happy to help setup an alternative method of payment for you to allow for the autopay discount to continue as we are still offering it. Please let us know if we are able to be of assistance.
