Device Payment Buyout Charge

I upgraded my phone on the app. I must of looked at the final page of charges 100 times before finally agreeing to upgrade my phone. I did not see any charges, I even turned in my phone which was in perfect condition to Verizon. They offered a 'buy out on us'. Now my bill has a Device Buyout Charge. It shouldn't have a charge because they credited it. Doesn't make sense why if it's on you why you're then charging me a different amount. No one is fixing my account and they are saying they are helping but aren't. I never would have upgraded my phone if I had known I'd get some random charge that I'd have to fight with on my bill.

Total joke! I upgraded  my phone w/trade-in, they charge a $35 upgrade fee. I'm on monthly 3 of no credit for my  trade-in. I have verification of credit for the trade-in yet I'm paying full price (monthly) for my upgrade!!  Customer service, which has gone to total joke, tells me it will show up. Their monthly plans have become over priced too! Only 3 options with $65 being the lowest!

Good luck to you!

They saved the last five hour on us then they start charge my device by a charge but I didn't see what I don't have a bill or any kind of invoice showing that they did make the payments on my device

@CoastalJL: There are a bunch of promotions constantly being offered, so I hope I don't have something mixed up.  But if the promo you got was the one which can show up when you're 18 months in on a contract, then it's asking if you want to pay off the balance on your old phone so you can get a new phone earlier without it being considered breaking your contract and subjecting you to early termination penalties.  You could look at it as getting the new phone for about half price.

@LJHARPS: If you've not received trade-in credits at all for a trade-in, I'd look up the tracking number of the package and find the IMEI of your trade-in to ask Verizon about what happened to the trade-in.  As for the costs of postpaid service plans, all the large carriers charge in about the same range for their plans.  While Pink Logo Place has some "bargain" postpaid plans available if you dig around on their website, those are stripped down and won't be the same thing as the more expensive plans.  In my own experience, cell phone service is like most other things in life: you usually get what you pay for.
