Device Return Whiteland IN

I have to return a trade in device to the Verizon return processing center in Whiteland Indiana and I’m extremely concerned about returns sent to this facility based on past personal experience and posts from other community members. Returns are not properly processed at this location claiming no receipt of the device and removing promotional credit resulting in being billed for the full cost of the trade in device. When in fact, devices were sent and delivered. Just called Verizon again and the agents are still not aware of this location.

Has Verizon addressed this issue that’s been going on for months? Is the Return Processing Center Mission Rd STE2 Whiteland IN 46184 address legit? I want to avoid any future issues and headaches.

I am experiencing this problem right now.  And being threatened by Verizon to turn off my service tomorrow as I have not paid for the equipment or returned it.  But I actually did return it to the Whiteland, IN location.  Of course customer service has no idea.  I have literally spent hours on the phone and gotten nowhere.  Anyone successfully navigate this?

I can feel your pain. I returned a device also to Whiteland and initially the representative said that they had a warehouse there and not to worry about it. I called today after messing with Verizon for a week and they have no idea what I’m talking about. Why do they keep doing this to us? Your return of product and they act like you didn’t get it even though you have a receipt tracking number.  Why they don’t give automatic Refund when you send it through ups?  Amazon gives you a return  after you scan it.  I keep asking them to check on verification and they say they’re checking but then they come back and act like they don’t know what I’m talking about. I talked to Supervisor and he gave me the runaround as well. How do we get answers and how can we avoid paying for something we don’t have? I’m not paying for both iPods that I sent back and I told them that and I also told them I would switch to T-Mobile or AT&T if this  Continues to be a problem. I will never order anything from then again

I'm dealing with the same nightmare. I returned a Verizon 5G modem within the trial period after cancelling. I used the prepaid UPS label and box that Verizon sent me, addressed to Whiteland IN. A few weeks later, Verizon charged me $216.50 due to their bogus claim that the modem was never received. I called customer support and they had no records or means of retrieving the shipping label that was sent to me. Thankfully, I saved the tracking number and was able to prove that it was delivered on time to Whiteland IN. Then, despite this proof, the customer service person asserted that the tracking number is invalid and that the service center is located in Fort Worth TX, not Whiteland IN. I directed her to this forum and the numerous other complaints about this issue. After speaking to her supervisor, she finally admitted that Verizon made a mistake. It's completely unacceptable that Verizon made me jump through these hoops to prove that they made a mistake that I would've had to pay $216.50 otherwise. I also spent over an hour on the phone and wasted my time dealing with this nonsense. I can't recommend Verizon to anyone as they are disorganized, lack proper documentation, have systemic logistical errors, and make their customers prove when Verizon is at fault while sending out invalid charges.

I am experiencing this EXACT same issue. After speaking with support today, I have been given a ticket number and the support person continuously mentioned that they do not know of this location and there has been no mention of getting my money back.  It is ridiculous that Verizon can't get it together with this location.

Same problem...I have the tracking number saying that the iPhone was delivered...called Verizon and the CS rep said they don't have a warehouse in Whiteland, IN....usually returns are sent to TX...they gave me back credit during the phone conversation...I hope this solves things, been a customer of Verizon for 40 years, usually satisfied...something's wrong in Whiteland, IN....

I will say that Verizon did eventually credit me for the equipment.   Certainly went through a lot of aggravation and time to get to that point though.  Troubling to still see other customers with the same issue on returns to Whiteland, IN.  Come on Verizon - what is going on with that return facility????

They "lost" one of my 4 phones I sent back for a trade-in, and have been charging me full price without giving me the device credit. I've called customer service 3x, have been told it would be rectified 3x, and keep getting charged full price. Every time I call back, I have to start from scratch explaining the issue, having them dig into it, and waiting for the "solution" from the rep. Beyond frustrating. How is that not theft??

I returned 5G internet gateway on 7/10/2024, and the UPS said it was delivered on 7/15/2024. Why does Verizon charge me 200$ for not returning this? Even if I returned this before due date which is Aug 5th.

And Verizon was the one who sent me return kit box in order to let me place this equipment in it and return back to them. Which I did return.

Hello, KimmelOR6. Help is here. Once you return the device, there should be no charge for the equipment. We can check the account to gather more details. I have sent you a Private Message for further assistance.

I have the same issue. UPS tracking says it was received on July 11th. I just received a bill for $220 for not returning the 5g gateway even though it is in your warehouse per UPS tracking

Verizon did remove this wrongful charge eventually by giving me $200 credits  but they didn't remove taxes and gov fees that came with it. I still have been charged for taxes and gov fees which is not my responsibility to pay because I didn't do anything wrong. I want Verizon to remove these taxes and fees too.

I am also having the same exact problem. I was talked into trying the Home Internet, even though I was skeptical it will work where I live (poor coverage).  But the aggressive VZ sales person said it will not cost me anything to try it for a month.  I should have said no.  As I expected, the service was bad at me place. I was getting very low throughput.  I immediately disconnected the service and requested  return label. After waiting 10 days with no sign of return label, I had to call VZ and ask them to send it soon, since I was leaving on 2 week vacation.  Finally when it arrived, the box was soaked in the rain and unusable.  So I used the original box and put the new label and took it to the UPS store.  I UPS tracking said it was delivered on July 29th to Whiteland, IN.  So I called VZ to tell them to take the  $200+ tax device charge from my bill.  The agent I spoke with asked for the UPS tracking number and said that all was good and it will be removed from the bill. But guess what, the latest bill shows up with the charge. So I am on call with VZ CS again.  This person was so apologetic and assured me this will be fixed today. But then says that he spoke to his resources and they never received it.  I will have to call UPS and follow up on what happened to this package.  It was a hour long call with long holds and apologies, but at the end of it he said he will transfer me to the Home Internet Dept to see if they can resolve this.  And put me on hold, after another 20 min of silence, I hung up. This is second incidence in recent months with VZ that I wasted a long time trying to get a resolution.   I have had it with Verizon and their promises.  I am planning to go ahead and dispute this charge on my CC.
