Device Return Whiteland IN

I have to return a trade in device to the Verizon return processing center in Whiteland Indiana and I’m extremely concerned about returns sent to this facility based on past personal experience and posts from other community members. Returns are not properly processed at this location claiming no receipt of the device and removing promotional credit resulting in being billed for the full cost of the trade in device. When in fact, devices were sent and delivered. Just called Verizon again and the agents are still not aware of this location.

Has Verizon addressed this issue that’s been going on for months? Is the Return Processing Center Mission Rd STE2 Whiteland IN 46184 address legit? I want to avoid any future issues and headaches.

I am having the same issue. I cannot believe Verizon refuses to fix this issue! Customer service is telling me right now they cannot see that the package was delivered....I am tracking the package on UPS RIGHT NOW an it was delivered August 19, 2024 at 10:29 AM to the Whiteland IN facility. Now I am being threatened with late fees. I am so frustrated with Verizon right now.

Returned a phone and it went to the Whiteland, IN facility. Suprise, surprise. No record in my account of receipt.

Purchased an Apple TV + from version and returned it within 30 days to the Whiteland Indiana location, I have a photo of the UPS tracking return receipt that they received it, but calling in to Verizon the say they have no proof of the return and I’m out the $160.00. After telling the customer support about the photo they say I can’t send it to them. Typical Verizon feces

I have an exchange coming tomorrow. It was supposed to be sent via Saturday delivery before 12 pm. I see it's coming from Verizon Forward in Whiteland, IN and won't be delivered until before 1:30 pm. I have rescheduled an appointment twice now and this will make a third time since it's being delivered 1.5 hours later than what I paid for. I looked up Verizon Forward and that the internet affordability plan for individuals on low income. Why am I receive my new phone (exchange) from the internet affordability location in Whiteland. Will my return label say return to Whiteland, IN location for the phone I'm returning? No way............returning this phone back to the Verizon store I purchased it from. The exchange just had to be done with tech support due to technical online issues. No way am I sending the return back via UPS or Fed Ex. To the store I go....

I shipped a package to Verizon's Returns Processing Center at Whiteland, IN, and my story is similar to what everyone has been saying here.

I have been a Verizon customer for about 5 years and a Verizon Salesman recently showed up at my door and lied to me that he was getting my information so that he would call me later to discuss the prospect of making me switch to Verizon 5G Home Internet. Unknown to me, this shady guy went ahead and placed an order in the system without my consent. It was when I received a notification from Verizon that the 5G Internet router was on the way to be delivered to me that I realized what the Salesman had done, and I immediately contacted Verizon to cancel the order.

A UPS return label was shipped to me, and I was advised that it was best to return the package unopened. However, Verizon had on another hand instructed Fedex to put the delivery on hold, so the 5G internet router was never delivered to me.

Coincidentally, a separate package was delivered to me by Fedex on that same day and I shipped it to Verizon with the UPS return-label that Verizon provided to me, believing that I was returning the 5G internet router to Verizon.

Upon realizing the mistake, I contacted Verizon so that I can retrieve my package. I have now been on this mission to retrieve the package from Verizon for the past two weeks and have been tossed from one department to another without any headway.

My greatest worry is that I printed my address on the return-label and would expect Verizon to return my package to me after opening it and realizing that the item is not the type of item that Verizon deals with, but it's looking like someone at Verizon wants to hold on to my package and deny me of my property and I'm not making any headway with customer service!

Hi Joe,

It was something that I bought from an Amazon reseller, and as far as they are concerned, they have fulfilled their part of the transaction by having it delivered to my address. If I contact them to replace the item they will demand for another payment.

I think what we should be addressing here is the process of retrieving the item from Verizon since it is presently in Verizon's custody.

Been fighting this since July 2024. Proof of Delivery from UPS that all were delivered, Verizon admits they have them, 6 calls later between then and now, multiple emails stating that we are owed this money and it will be "credited to our account and then refunded", and STILL nothing. Today was the last phone call if no resolution at 4:30PM EST when they return our call, tomorrow we start arbitration because this is BEYOND ridiculous!

I am sad to see that this is a frequent occurrence. I shipped mine out in November and it was delivered but I received the email from Verizon saying they haven't received my Apple watch that I traded in. They gave the QR code to me and I used it at a UPS store. This seems like a pain for all involved and I'm wondering why Verizon hasn't changed their shipping of returnable/trade-in items.

I am having the same issue with a return for nternet equipment (which never worked for me even though I was assured that it was great). Same processing center mentioned in most of the comments. I thought it was resolved after speaking to multiple agents with multiple escalations, but since I am naive enough to have auto pay, they decided that today was a good day to take it out of my account. I will go through this process of disputing and providing documentation again, and then it will be time to explore other carriers.

Wow, so I guess it's not just me. I dropped off the Verizon gateway at my local UPS Store using their prepaid label and box and it was delivered to the Whiteland, IN facility on 04/23/2025. Since then I have received multiple emails warning me that I would be charged for not returning the device, so I even followed up and called Verizon on 05/04/2025. The customer service agent, Jose, assured me that he had checked the tracking number and could see that it had been delivered and told me not to worry because I would not be charged. Well, today, 05/19/2025, I received an email with a subject line that says "You've been charged for unreturned equipment. Can someone from Verizon please help me? The UPS tracking number is 1ZB3469R0605338143 . If I am in fact charged, I will file complaints with FCC, BBB, and any relevant state agencies in IL.

I am also having this issue. I noticed on my current bill a $200 one-time charge labeled "VZ INTERNET GATEWAY (NON-RETN)." I returned the device via UPS through a local PostNet store and, according to the tracking number, it was delivered to Whiteland, IN on April 11, 2025. Is there a way to resolve this issue without my spending an inordinate amount of time on the phone?

Same here, UPS tracking proved my 5g home internet device was delivered to Whiteland Indiana but then Verizon tells me they can't find it in their internal system. I've spent over 20 hours with various customer service reps over the past 9 months trying to get this $217.75 that I was wrongfully charged back in October of 2024.

This is still "ChicagoBlue3" but for whatever reason I am no longer able to log in with that username. So it has been more than two months since I spoke with Verizon Customer Service on the phone and they assured me that I would not be charged because they could see that I had returned the gateway... and now I have an email in my inbox that says I will be charged $214 on July 10th. This has turned into a complete nightmare.

I tried logging into your web site just now but am told that since my account is no longer active I have to call 800-922-0204. And when I call that number and enter my account info, nothing happens... I can't even talk to an agent. Why is this so hard to resolve? Every other company can handle a returned item in a couple of days... Verizon still has not processed my return after 2.5 months?

Can someone from Verizon PLEASE help?

I'm dealing with this right now. I've been dealing with it for 6 months!!! Verizon is trying to bill me 1500.00 for a phone I returned to this center 6 months ago. This needs to be a class action lawsuit against verizon.
