In July, I signed up for the Iphone unlimited plan, and I chose to bring my own phone that was paid off. When I tried activating the Esim it was unsuccessful. When I contacted customer service about this they closed my line and are still trying to charge me $145 or something for a line that was never even activated?! How do I get this disputed so I can restart an account the right way?

Hello, jlaughlin1993. Help is here. So sorry to hear the account/service was not a good fit, but we can take a look at the account in question. We will need you to authenticate the account which causes some concerns since you stated the account was canceled. Let's see what we can do. I have sent you a Private Message for further assistance.

I had something similar happen when I ported to another large carrier for less than a week before coming back. What I think happened is you were billed for a month's service when you signed up, because all postpaid customers are paying a month behind, but in order to get the "month behind" thing going, you have to pay for a month upfront when you get started. Your phone not activating with the eSIM is a separate issue, because the line was otherwise with Verizon.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
