Do not allow Retailer to change your Account

EliseoManzanilla

Do not allow retailers to change your plans without you understanding the  changes in their entirety.

This is not an isolated incident retailers change plans and the consumer ended up paying the price for all those changes because the retailer cannot put you back to your old locals plans and Verizon will not help you,  like it or not You're gonna have to pay.

This is exactly what happens to me I know about these practices and I still fall victim of this Practice  because I was in a hurry At that moment’

August 13 2024 I visited the retailer Wireless Plus -140 San Bernardino

I was assisted by Isaac   On that date and the only thing that I needed was an extra line and a new phone , Isaac looked into my account he told me... at the time I have 3 Wi-fi units for which I was paying $25 a month and Isaac told me that those units were already obsolete they needed to be upgraded which was a lie those unit still offered by the same retailer in their showroom so basically he replaced me the three units with the supposedly upgrade units and he told me it would be no cost to me howsoever everything will be fine is just an upgrade he ended up being a lie later on I was billed  $35 for his unit,  also Isaac told me when I asked him about the old WIFI units what would happen to them, he says just dispose of them if you don't get ask to send them back, no problem and in the second month I get bill for over $200 for every single Wi-Fi unit. So I ended up paying over $600 for those units that I tossed to the trash.

My account is in autopay  so when I went to ask Isaac what can be done because obviously this is an error from your part he says don't worry I have everything under control I'm going to make you refunds for the activation, we're going to get you back to your plan and everything is going to be fine.  But nothing happened. I ended up paying that b bill. It was over $1000 or close to $1000 for that month and the credit Isaac promised never happened. I have to spend hours talking to customer service to find a solution ,  they told me no there is no way we can get you back to your old plans.  So it was nothing that I can do they took the money out of my bank account because it being an auto play I don't want to stop the payment so I cannot incur into more penalties for not  paying the bill and get the other discounts that I have for being an out of pay remove, this has becoming  a nightmare so far is 2025 we are on January still nothing is being resolved.

Verizon didn't help me the retailer didn't help me the customer service people couldn't help me nobody could help me So guys be careful when you go see your retailer because thereafter your money and Verizon wont help you to fix it.
