Cancelled cell service. Called after not receiving my last bill. Last bill was never mailed. I made last payment and auto pay was also processed causing duplicate payments exceeding $800. I received no communication from Verizon that an auto pay was scheduled. Turn out on website, even though account was deactivated, they still have access to autopay. Now after several calls and different stories, I still haven't been able to get my refund. I see on this forum that getting Verizon to refund overpayments are a real problem and has been going on for years. Very frustrating. I need that money to pay my property taxes this month. I've already suffered an overdraft bank charge and now I'll have to pay late fee on my taxes. Verizon rep says it will be returned directly to my bank OR a check will be mailed to me. He couldn't even tell my how my refund was or when it was processed. It's been more than 10 days and I received no refund and customer service not able to give me any facts or specific details. Did they even process or look at my account when i called ??
