I have not received any information how to redeem the free tv. I look under services perks and there is nothing there. It is on my order confirmation and that's it. It said verizon would email me but no email.

Getting a free 65” Smart Fire TV on us is a great deal, and we want to make the process of redeeming it as easy and straightforward as possible.
This promotion is available when you purchase select devices, open a new line on a new account, and activate the line on the Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plans. It offers you the choice of receiving that device at a discounted price by receiving monthly credits on your bill as long as the Device Payment Plan for that device remains active or a free 65” Amazon Fire TV.
When you complete your purchase and make the choice of receiving the free 65” Amazon Fire TV, you’ll get an e-mail confirmation with your redemption date information. You’ll also get another e-mail 30 days after redemption with information on how to redeem as well as additional reminder e-mails. You have 60 days from the redemption data to redeem the promotion.
To redeem, you will need to sign into your My Verizon app or the My Verizon website, scroll down to Make The Most of Your Plans and click on the Get an Amazon Fire TV on us tile. From there, you’ll be taken to Amazon to complete the purchase. At the end of the checkout process, the cost of the TV will be $0.00 and shipments usually take 2-3 days from redemption.

- I have the same problem with different things happening. I got tired of T-mobile lying to me all the time so I decided to make a switch so going thru verizon I seen the free 65 inch amazon fire tv free if you switch. So I was very interested I got a representative to explain the details to me on the internet and she asked if I was interested. While explaining things to me she said since I'm switching I get a phone and tv. Mind you she never said anything about choosing one or the other so I was very interested amd went ahead with picking my phone going thru the whole process of getting everything done to ship me my new phone. So just before we ended the conversation I asked when will I get the tv she said wait 30 days and you will get an email. I waited a little longer then that and nothing so I contacted verizon and spoke to a person who said she was having a problem so she would email the people in the back amd I should receive something in my email in 8 days all the while reassuring me I qualified for the tv. So its been more then 8 days nothing so I chat another agent who says to me your not getting the tv as you choose the phone. I said back up my friend I didn't choose anything at all I was told I get a free phone and tv I. Verizon for switching so where is my tv. He said your not getting the tv. They say wait 30 days as once the 30 days is finished you can't return your phone. So your stuck with them or pay for the phone all at once. Well I'm telling you verizon right here right now I have screen shots of the promises that was offered me and I'm taking this to whom ever and wherever possible. I'm probably not the first one who has experienced this same thing. As for now I'm done.

A Fire TV is a cool item to get, and for sure if you qualify I want you to be able to claim that. As part of that, I want to ID the specific promotion. So I can get those details, sending a Private Message.

I had a representative help me do a in store pick up on March 9th 2024 and was told I qualified but am now being told 30 days later that it is only for new customers and not just add a line. The promotion for the third party store was just to add a line but it seems like other people did there’s much earlier so I’m not sure if mine is a different promotion or if I got lied to.

Got told I qualified from a representative that helped me do the order and turns out it’s only for new accounts and multiple reps over the last 30 days have told me that I qualified and I got told finally that it was only for new lines and Verizon refused to fix the mistakes made by the representative that helped with the order and the others after that that also confirmed I qualified. It’s just a runaround when trying to get a solution.

They don’t tell you that it has to be a brand new account. I was told by multiple representatives that I qualified and found out after my 30 days that I was lied to and Verizon won’t hold up their end and fix their mistake.

I was told I am eligible for the tv and never got an email after signing up. Also, no email after 30 days. Seems like something is up with all these complaints

If that’s the case explain why on earth in the cart it specifically says the words “you’re getting a free tv” but after just making a purchase it’s nowhere on my receipt. I understand I wouldn’t get the tv right away but this type of hidden requirements when you’re specifically stating that it is happening is false advertising or at the very least intentionally misleading and if not corrected ... as it’s clear by the amount of likes on this there have been a significant amount of people with this type of issue. And don’t you dare try to tell me it’s not misleading when it literally says the words “you’re getting a free tv”

Well, if you wanna work with us to get this television on the promotion, it seems quite funny that every call has been unanswered that I have made. I have left messages on here made phone calls sent emails been told 12 different stories. I’m 60 days in and I still haven’t gotten an email

I finally got mine bit it took me going to the bbb and then talking with the senior executive to get mine the bbb is the place to go to get anything done as these people that work for verizon need better training and learn how to speak to the customer. I thank the bbb as they got the job done l. Good luck

Thanks so much for your input that’s where I’m going right now. I’m getting very tired of this. Nobody wants to take your call. They all tell me the same thing they always gotta escalate the ticket. Then I gotta wait for another 5 to 10 business days. It’s a bunch nonsense so the Better Business Bureau is where I’m going right now

How long after you filed your case with the Better Business Bureau did you get in touch with the senior executive? I just filed my case with the Better Business Bureau. Just wanted to know what the turnaround time was because I am to my in waiting for this. I don’t see that Verizon being a multi billion dollar company should be treating its customers this way
