I was sent a bill for cell phone service I never had! The bill is $71.81.
I bot a phone at Walmart.
I spent total of 10 hours in Walmart - that day and the next day - while the tech tried to hook my old phone number to it...which he told me would take about 30 min.
He could not hook it to my old number.
I returned the phone. I got my $ back in 2 days. Told the tech I did not want the phone or to use Verizon service.
I NEVER HAD a working PHONE! I never had a phone number for it!
I have called Verizon 3 times. I have spent over an hour trying to reach them. The first and 2nd time, Verizon hung up on me!
3rd time - The bot could not get me to billing.
The entire system is just terrible.
I cannot see a way to email them or I would.
Would appreciate help from anyone.
Can anyone HELP please??

Was this a Verizon kiosk set up in the Walmart? Because I'm wondering if maybe it was a 3rd party carrier who uses Verizon for service, but it isn't actually Verizon. If so, you'd need to contact that 3rd party company regarding the bill.
If you were trying to sign up for prepaid service, you do have to pay for a month's service upfront while they're signing you up regardless of whether you use the whole month or not.
If it is Verizon postpaid service you were trying to sign up for, and the port failed where you never had service at all, then I would send a PM to @vzw_customer_support about the bill.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
