International Travel Plan Charges

Hello,

I am traveling from Seattle, USA to Nanjing, China for 2 weeks in December. I am going to purchase the
International Travel Plan for $100/month. Whether I text/call from China to USA or someone back home texts/call me from USA to China, will there be an additional charge? For example, if I call my sister in Seattle OR my sister calls me in China FROM Seattle, with EITHER of us be charged in addition to the $100/month?

Hey there, Laurenalexc, that sounds like an exciting trip! When looking at calls made from the US, you would only be charged for making a long distance call to an international number. The same would be true for messaging international numbers if your sister does not have a plan that includes international text. Since your sister would be calling/messaging your US number, that would not accrue additional charges.

As far as the international plan, that will provide an allowance of 250 minutes and you have unlimited messaging. So you can message with her (or anyone else back home) and that is included in your plan. If you were to go over the 250 minutes, you will just see overage charges of $0.25 per minute.
