I can’t believe this situation with Verizon. Every year, I trade in my iPhone and upgrade. This time for some reason, never got confirmation that they received my trade in and saw a $500 bill pop up on my account. Hm that’s curious since I definitely returned it. I check UPS - sure enough, delivered to the Verizon warehouse - proof of delivery and all. You’d think this would be an easy mistake Verizon made to sort out. Nope. I am now nearly 2 hours into customer service calls across two different times. They open tickets i never hear back, I call back and the tickets are mysteriously closed. Reading these forums I see many others have had similar problems. It seems my only next step is to file a case with my state attorney general - not sure what else to do as the late charges will start piling up and they’ll send me to collections but I cannot justify paying this when it was 100% Verizon’s mistake. I really can’t believe they could do this to a loyal customer over a decade and on Fios too. What a shame.

Freddy please help. 6 months after this was “resolved” I honestly can’t even believe it but this charge re-appeared on my bill and I was again billed $500. I am honestly at a loss of words. This feels like a nightmare I’ll never be able to shake

This happened to me as well. I had a Verizon customer service agent send me an email showing he found the tracking number showing my returns being delivered to their warehouse but I’m still being charged for my new phones . I got them in july
