Last week I talked a customer service person about adding a line to our existing family plan(multiple lines already), he said there would be a loyalty discount for being with Verizon for over 18 years if we add a line and upgrade our existing plan. After I got a phone (on our own) and called back, people I interacted with today said there is no such discount (they said there is no indication it was ever available/offered/discussed with us). But last time we didnโt even inquire about it. The customer service person mentioned it himself and we to check and told us about it. So we are obviously very disappointed. After searching the community posts. It seems their so called loyalty discount is such a mess. Is it worth it to keep inquiring or is it better to just switch carriers? For people who used other carriers before, have you noticed any difference in network quality among different carriers?
