Multiple Issue

BenjaminArcher

I'm having multiple recurring, time consuming and disappointing issues.

  • Multiple tickets: I have multiple tickets open and no one has acknowledged some of the ones I submitted.
  • Support via Verizon App messaging, error message: I'm messaging with Verizon support and each time after about 5 - 10 minutes I start getting the messages 'message not sent'. So that's two methods of support that aren't working.
  • Response time to messages: It takes Verizon support about 5 - 10 minutes or more to acknowledge most messages.  If I'm able to look up my information in about 2 minutes or find it that quickly, how can an employee with training need more time for every single message of substance?
  • Hours messaging with Verizon support: I've wasted about three hours with Verizon support who have done little to nothing to actually address any of the issues.
  • Advertising: I was grandfathered into the previous plan (just switched to a higher and more expensive one today) and the Verizon app says that I would get Apple Arcade for free on the previous plan. A Verizon customer service person said that wasn't actually the case because I was grandfathered into my previous plan. This was ongoing for months that I was trying to add it but was unable to. That's $10 a month of value that I was hoodwinked about.
  • International charging - Billing Issue: I was charged for international calls on my currently due bill but I don't see that I've made any.  The Verizon rep said they don't see these on my bill but how can I see them? The math adds up to the bill total only with those charges included.

I've been a Verizon customer for 10 years in a row and I feel like I'm in a Kafkaesque nightmare trying to engage with anyone or get these matters resolved.

Since Verizon Messages+ is being retired this year, I would suggest that you look into the available replacement options. Google Messages for Android devices and the standard message application on the Apple devices.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
