Never received trade in credit

I switched to Verizon from T Mobile back in November during a promotion. I was told if I traded in my device, I would receive a trade in credit and my monthly bill would go down by $23.05 every month. I have this conversation with a Verizon support agent documented. I received a text message back in December of 2023 that my trade in device was received and I would receive an update once my device was inspected. I never received any update. I have called Verizon support twice and they were unable to help me receive my trade in credit. When I switched to Verizon from T-Mobile, I made it very clear I did not want to trade my device in. It was the Verizon associate who convinced me to trade my device in so that I would receive a reduction in my bill. So now not only is my bill not reduced, I am also without my old phone (which was already sent off to Verizon). I am reading on Verizon help forums this is a frequent issue faced by customers. I need someone from Verizon to credit my account the trade in amount immediately. I have been paying an inaccurate bill for over 6 months now. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
