No discount applied for trade in

I traded in an excellent condition Note 8 when i purchased my Galaxy S23 in early 2023. Since the time of sending in the device and receiving a confirmation...the discount still has not been applied, going well over a year now. I made 2 calls to follow up and I was told that I need to continue scheduled payments to acquire the discount. Well here it is on the last few payments left, still no discount, and the combined past payments plus remaining payments exceeds the full price of the phone if it had no service on it. I got jacked by verizon, I have been a long time customer and to get robbed cuts deep for me. Clearly, there is no solution at this point so I wanted to bring to attention to others  so they may know what to expect using a trade-in device. I'm ending my service and cutting my losses...never again with Verizon.

We are sorry to read that you had this negative experience, as the last thing we want is to lose your preference. Did you keep the phone under the monthly payments? What was the discount you were supposed to receive?
