I live in Texas City< TX & sales store for Verizon is in LaMarque, TX near a Wa l Mart. I have been a customer of Verizon for year off and on even before they adopted the name Verizon. I recently added a line to my account and purchase a phone. I was told by the sales person that the activation fee and sales tax was $150.00. I asked about a receipt and was told that it would be in my email account. Well to my surprise no receipt for cash no there is no notation showing that the $150.00 was applied to my account for activation or taxes for phone. In fact I saw that my bill show the activation fee of 40.00 and nothing regarding sales taxes for the phone. Where the sales person was nice and polite and for that service I lost a 150.00. I take part of the blame for trusting the sales person to do what was right but I should have demanded a received for my cash money. A very costly lesson learned regarding never to trust anyone when it comes to giving them cash money. I even text her regarding the matter that the 150.00 wasn't shown on any of the paper work and later I had to have the phone replaced and she reluctantly waited on me and I mention the activation fee not be shown and she just ignored that conversation. I hope this location adopt a new policy when taking cash or don't take cash at all if employee not posting it to customers accounts,
