No service, says I need to pay past due balance of "zero dollars"

I've been without service for approximately 24 hours now, for what I can see as no reason. I had a past due balance that I paid yesterday. (Still had service during this time.) I notice about an hour or two later, my service goes away. Assumed it was maybe an outage of some sort or a mix up and my service would return. This persists all day. Evening comes and I find an automated system to call, it says I need to pay my past due balance of "zero dollars" to restore service??? The system even verifies that I paid my account earlier in the day and I have an e-mail receipt.

Everywhere says it'd take 15 minutes to an hour to restore service but it's been 24 hours now. I can't log into the system on my phone because it won't connect, even on wi-fi. I can't sign into the website or help chatroom because I can't receive the verification text and was then locked out of my account. Any phone number I try usually takes me to an automated system or tries to log me into My Verizon on my phone, which it then can't connect to because it won't work on wi-fi for some reason. I'm at my wit's end here. How can I go about getting my service back?

Same issue here. Past bill was paid  and new bill not due for a few more days. Havenโ€™t had service on since Saturday. Try to call and it says past due of $0 and to pay the minimum to restore. Select minimum payment option and it only gives me the option to pay my full balance for the new bill. And to talk to an actual person you would have to pay a $10 fee?!

I am having the same issue now and I do not know what to do. Past due balance was paid last night and i wake up this morning and im getting the same financial services message when i try to make a call and when i use the chat it says i have to pay 0 dollars to restore service. but when i paid last night it sent a payment confirmation text and a text saying my account was restored.

I am having the same issue. I tried to pay my bill, but no amount was ever attempted to pull from my account and yet it says I donโ€™t owe anything but I havenโ€™t paid for my bill. I am getting text messages from Verizon telling me to pay my bill but I canโ€™t pay it when I click the lick because it says I owe $0.

Itโ€™s been 2 hours since I paid my bill and still have no service. Iโ€™ve turned off wifi and restarted my phone and still nothing, every time I try and call it drops the call.

I am also currently having this problem. Says services are suspended until balance of $0.00 is paid. Tried to re-connect online and it does not work.

I am having the exact same problem. I pay my exuberantly high bill every single month HOW CAN THERE BE A PAST DUE BALANCE??!! Even going back in my payment history there is a sudden jump in amount needing to be paid. Looks like they are doing this to multiple people and stealing large amounts of money from them by fabricating a "past due balance" when there isn't one. I want someone at Verizon to explain this to me because I don't understand how there could be a balance when I pay every month! My next move is to file a complaint with the FCC!
