Payment not accepted

Verizon won’t accept my payment to upgrade to the new iPhone 16 pro. I get the error message “At this time, Verizon is not able to complete your transaction with your current payment method. Please select a new payment method in order to continue.” even though I verified it’s the right payment and alerted my bank that it’s not fraud. I’ve tried multiple payment methods.
