Price Increase

I’ve had my bill increase TWICE this year. I’ve been with Verizon for over two years and I’m now seeing changes because the system is “correcting” discrepancies. I tried calling customer support and had to hang up because the tone and volume the lady was using felt very disrespectful (Denise). Excuse me for having questions and stressing over a 25$ increase to my services. Always read the fine print because the 5-year “price lock” is bogus and misleading. My services include the 1-gig plan but I have 4 floors so having to have the extender hardwired to the router if very inconvenient. I’ve stuck with Verizon when a lot of people/friends have switched over to Xfinity because of the reliability. I guess loyalty doesn’t mean much nowadays.

Speculation, but what I think you're seeing with the latest pricing increase is the loyalty discount going away. There were also changes made to the autopay discount earlier this year or maybe it was late last year. The price lock guarantee applies only to the base rate of the service plan and doesn't include taxes and fees, which could go up. (Pink Logo Place has the same disclaimer in their fine print regarding their price lock.) But will agree with you that it's frustrating.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Hello Chairez3claudio! Your satisfaction is our priority and we're sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience. Is your issue regarding your Verizon FIOs bill or is it for your Verizon Wireless bill?

Loyalty discount removed, bill going up 25 dollars. Ill be switching carriers after 19 years with Verizon. Might as well explore another option at this price point.

I have been with Verizon for 30 years and they have increased my bill by 25% this year. Time to say goodbye. Loyalty with Verizon has no benefit. DO NOT BUNDLE or it will be a big pain to change.
