During TS Helene, when we trying to just survive, cut off from everything by flooding, uprooted trees, downed live power lines, roads completely missing, and now water or sewer we had no means by which to contact anyone.  For 10 days the only cell coverage was for about 10 seconds every 4 or 5 hours when we received batches of incoming texts.  We still couldn't send messages out and even when it looked like they went they were never delivered.   Not even access to 911.

 

Now, two weeks later, I receive my monthly bill.  Not only does Verizon expect that I pay for Not having any service....my bill actually increased and they don't know why.  I am on a plan so there should not be any changes!!!

 

All of the other carriers have given various credits to their loyal customers!  Verizon-NO!!!!!  The only way you get anything from Verizon is by being a new customer.  Long standing loyal customers are just money in the bank because they count on no one going through the hassle of changing.  These greedy corporations should bring some muck boots, waders, t shirts, and wrangler jeans and find out what REAL LIFE is like.
