Redeeming Verizon dollars for retail gift cards

I am so upset. I want to purchase retail gift cards with my Verizon dollars and the link won’t open. 
I am seeing by the posts this has been going on for quite some time. 
You are terminating the program but that date has not arrived yet. 
I don’t want to apply it to my bill or purchase products. 
I have tried to get a real person but they must not exist.

Thanks for letting us know that you were having any trouble with that link. Are you trying to use your device dollars for a gift card, towards your Verizon bill or Verizon products?

I (438mlr) was able to purchase gift cards this morning. I was on Verizon app. When open and put up the amount you dollars you have click on arrow. The page then should open to where you can link  with cxLoyalty site to purchase gift cards. 
I wasted so much time last weeks they must have fixed something hurrah!!

I have been trying for months - Synchrony owns the credit card and won’t let me use to pay off credit card but Verizon won’t allow me to get to the page to redeem for gift cards and no human will help me unless I resign up for a Verizon service.
