Refunded payment

My bill was due on 4-7-24. I checked on My Verizon app on 4-1-24 and noticed a discrepancy. I called the automated service and asked to speak to an agent, the automated Service kept asking me to be more specific, so I said there was a discrepancy on the balance owed for my phone. The automated service says โ€œ got it you would like to pay the remaining balance on your phone is that correct?โ€ I said,โ€Noโ€ three times. Then the automated service says thank you for your payment,.โ€ then I received a text message confirming I had just paid $991.55. I recently purchased this phone in February with a trade-in value of 1000 the value was only showing up is 830 on my bill. So I was calling about the discrepancy, thankfully, I spoke with a representative who gave me a ticket number and said they would be refunding my card within three days.thankfully I had enough money in the bank to cover this and I did pay my bill Monday (4-1-24). But my question is where do I enter this ticket number and how do I track the refund?

JakeRyan222, thank you for sharing those details and we are glad to read that we are in the process of addressing your issue. Ticket numbers are provided for reference and confirmation, but there is not a platform for you to search the ticket information. Based on the information that you have provided and that this was in relation to a payment, once a refund is approved it can take 3-5 business days for a refund to show back to the original payment method after the ticket has been processed for approval.
