Removing Sales Maker Discount

I used to work at BestBuy, where I was given a sales maker employee discount. I stopped working at BestBuy around 6 months ago and was only recently able to get my discount removed by calling Verizon. The one caveat is that my account is still an employee account… they just removed the discount. I still cannot upgrade my device nor have my account pulled up in BestBuy or Verizon’s stores.  There was a forum from 2023 talking about the same thing on here, but Verizon has seemed to lock it so no more posts can be put up replying to the subject. I have spent several hours on the phone, where I was directed to BestBuy HR and HelpDesk while on the phone with a Verizon rep, and on BestBuys side of things everything is correct. I have spent time with the mobile chat when I cannot talk on the phone, where I was directed to the Verizon corporate store, there I was told that there is absolutely nothing that they can do to help me out. I will be switching carriers and will not be recommending Verizon to anybody in the future. The service wasn’t very good either. If you are in the same situation as me or similar I suggest you do the same. The only suggestions Verizon has for me at this point is to sit and wait. Thumbs down.

We certainly want to make sure you have the correct account type. We are sending over a private note so we can take a look at the account type together and look into options to get this fixed once and for all for you.
