Good Day @Anonymous
My service has been interrupted for payment. I understand the reason for denying us the ability to speak with a live representative but this is important. I am ready to make a payment but prefer to discuss my situation with a Rep because of other account issues before making this payment. I need my phone for work to pay any bill and with it being off is limiting my ability to do so. Please respond ASAP.
Thank you in advance

Deb,
This is not solving my issue. In my first comment, I stated I needed to speak with a LIVE agent. This is not possible with the number you gave me. I would like to resolve this payment and need to speak with someone to do so. Is that not an option?

Verizon is no longer offering accessible support from human reps. I am unfortunately experiencing a financial hardship and fell behind on payments. My service was interrupted in the middle of the workday. I scheduled a payment. My service was restored (Yaaay! I can work and earn the money to pay down my balance). I woke up the next day to interrupted service and no way to talk through options with a Verizon Support human. I need my phone service to work, to earn the money to pay down my overdue balance. This impacts my livelihood and survival. So, I took to the Verizon Chat service. I had a circular conversation with a person (?) that kindly offered to "check this." This impacts my livelihood and survival. I have been waiting an average of 7-10 minutes in between each "check this" chat response. I miss the days when I could just speak to a person. After 20 years of service with Verizon Wireless, I feel absolutely devalued. I know this will fall by the beep-boop wayside. Here's hoping a more human approach to Verizon customers is on the horizon (pun intended - laughing to keep from my crying).
Can you hear me now? 😒

THEY ALREADY HAVE THE NUMBER. The problem is you all disconnect people and FORCE them to pay without the option to speak to a representative.

Yall seem to not realize the problem lies with disconnecting us before we can speak to a representative. I was on call with someone until it cut off and now I can’t contact them again.

I have just learned they are violating consumer protection acts by not allowing us to speak to representatives. Please report this to the Better Business Bureau.

What we all want it to speak to a live agent. Payment arrangements are made and you guys are interrupting services is ridiculous. I’ve been a customer for 7 years and my bill goes ups to astronomical rates and have to make payment arrangements. Just so you guys can cut them off and charge us more money. Then Verizon forces to let us speak to anyone until we pay. I’m sure this against some type of law. Everyone report them to the better business burea. I already have.

I also set up a payment arrangement for December 31 and made the arrangement payment on the 30th and my stuff was disconnected today in the middle of work. I have a teenager and I have someone else in my line and now I can’t even pay it they want $500 and I don’t understand when I paid the payment arrangement. You guys are terrible and I never want to be a customer with you guys ever again Like it’s just ridiculous that I can’t even talk to no one and I paid it and I’m still getting charged

This is beyond ridiculous that we can't speak to a live rep because you've disconnected our phone. There are numerous situations that are best suited to be handled by a person, not AI. My phone was just disconnected, I paid my past due balance, and it still says I owe the same amount in past due as I just paid. This is obviously not correct, according to my bill, yet I can't talk to anyone to sort this out. So I'm either forced to pay extra money that isn't truly owed, or go without a phone.
