I verified employment through ID.me and was able to link with my Verizon account. When I go to add the discount through the link I keep getting an error that "we cannot continue your order at this time" and to contact the local business office. Phone and online support are not helpful. Meanwhile, I continue to be billed at a higher rate. The only reason I got the gigabit bandwisth was becasue of the teacher discount. Not looking forward to comcast, but they have to have better support than this, right?

Hey,
Did they contact you or you get this issue resolved. I signed up with fios about 2 weeks ago and have been trying since to get the teacher discount and nothing. I have called tech support multiple times. I only get refresh/clear cache and keep trying. Mind you I have to wait about an hour each time to speak to someone. I've tried on multiple browsers (chrome, mozilla, etc) and nothing.
Please let me know if this was resolved for you and what you had to do.
