Using two different accounts towards monthly bill

I was on this forum several months ago regarding paying a monthly bill using two different payments (credit cards). The final take-away was this is doable but was told that by doing so, I would lose a discount.
To revisit this, is the discount loss mean on-line payments as well as paperless billing?
I would appreciate hearing what discounts are actually removed from the Verizon bill for using two types of payments. Thank you to anyone who has advice/answers in this regard.

Great question! You can find the methods of payment that qualify for the discount through this link: http://spr.ly/6609i0DSL

I remember seeing your first thread. If the solution was to separate the 2 lines in question to 2 separate accounts, then you would be losing the multi-line discount for having 2 lines in one account and have to pay the single line rate on each line.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Great advice. I also heard from the Verizon Representative (in this thread) and now understand! Sorry it took a few times to post to have it make sense. I appreciate the finer details given as this is entirely answers what was on my mind.
