Verizon (Mobile + Home) Discount

If you are trying to get Verizon wireless, because you have Verizon Fios. DON'T DO IT. There are numerous people in these threads that are having the same issue. There is an error that appears when applying for the Mobile + Home discount. They will RIP you off. 

Error:  Looks like something went wrong with your discount. Please call customer service at 1-800-837-4966.

I have been through dozens of calls and chats, trying to get this issue resolved. But guess what, they "submit" a ticket that doesn't get looked at. It is crazy knowing that I am losing money because Verizon doesn't know how to manage issues. I'm currently looking at other service providers, because this is not cutting out.

There was one guy in these threads that got it to work. And he told the FIOS side to switch it to Mobile + Home 2.0, instead of 1.0. I tried mentioning this to the representatives but they are CLUELESS.  It is frustrating and looking at other mobile plans probably will save me and you money at the end of the day.

You will not be able to help me, because this requires someone that has authority. I've been through dozens of calls and messages between Fios and Verizon Wireless, what makes me think that you can also?
