I am a new Verizon customer, I signed up on 11/24th for two phone lines, and am switching over to Verizon Fios as well. One of the main reasons I decided to make the switch from a competitor was the offer for two $300 gift cards during sign up, if phones were purchased online. I did not receive these gift cards, I have called multiple times.
At first, two $200 gift cards were offered and when we told the agents this was the incorrect amount, they each escalated it, or opened a ticket, this happened about 7x in the course of the last month. The last agent gave me a call back stating the issue was resolved and he closed the ticket but I did not receive the gift cards via email, so called back today for the 8th time and had to replace the ticket with a service request, and each agent state they do not see any record of the previous calls, though each agent says that they will leave notes in my account.
One rep was able to find that the rebate was a localized offer and that might've been causing the confusion among the other reps. I looked online and it seems like this is a common occurrence, I do not want to jump and call misleading marketing, I just would like to receive the two $300 rebates.
Any suggestions?
