At the end of November beginning of December 2023 I traded in my Iphone 13 Pro for a Iphone 15 Pro. At the time of trade in I paid off my 13 pro in full prior to trading it in. There was a promo for $830 which equates to $23.06 per month for 36 months. When I traded in my Iphone I also paid for my 15 pro in full. So this means I owed zero dollars on either phone, but Verizon owes me in total $830. When I traded in my phone in person to a Verizon store I received everything stating that my phone met all of the requirements and I should be receiving my money each month. Then a few days later I received an email stating that my promotional credit had been removed from my account. I reached out to customer support three times. The first two times they assured me that they had fixed the issue and I would be receiving my credit. The last time the customer service representative straight up told me that since I owe zero dollars they have no way of attaching the credit. I asked multiple times to speak with a manager who could look at this further but he wouldn't transfer me to someone else. How can Verizon take my phone, then just refuse to give me my credit. I held up my end of the deal, you cannot steal peoples phones and then just say oh well we can't do anything. There is no reason that someone can't attach a $830 dollar credit to my account. This is poor business practices.
