Question

hi all
preamble: some time ago I traveled to S America and had my card hacked. I called VISA and all was fixed. WHen I called them, the recorded voice said  "Operator, we accept the charges"

Two weeks ago the charges showed up on my bill. You can imagine!

I called Visa and they confirmed that they accepted the charges and I should tell Verizon as much

I called Verizon and after some hesitation the operator agreed to take them off the bill "because you've been with us for 17 years"

Nothing happened.

This am I spent an HOUR on the phone trying to get justice. No way. The operator offered to take off 50% of the charges. Maybe two weeks ago I would have accepted just to avoid the hassle but today I gave her the info on the VISA company and suggested they should figure it out between themselves but I AM NOT PAYING.

Frustration Big Time. Should I change the company? trade one hassle for another? thanks
