Recently more that half my monthly wireless account payment, which is typically withdrawn from my bank account, was paid. The payment, however, did not appear on my bank statement.
Upon investigation Verizon determined that someone had made a payment to my account through Western Union.
No idea who. Verizon did not seem to be concerned about this being some kind of fraud, although at this point I benefitted, but still worried.
