I’m dealing with this right now. Billing surcharges where I live, and others for where I picked up the phone. Never had this issue when phone was shipped to me or if I order from apple and self activate. Verizon wants to lose a customer over 1.54
DF19 We definitely want to provide some information regarding these charges. Since you purchased the device in another area from where you live, the fees from that area do apply. That is determined by the government entities and Verizon must abide by these standards. The charges are not going to Verizon, they are going to that municipality. ~Peter
