"Your Bill Is Past Due" but I have a credit??

I just received an email from verizon saying that my bill is past due. If I go to look at my account it says I need to pay $100 but I actually have a credit on my account since I accidentally scheduled last month's payment twice and paid double. What gives?? Am I going to get a late fee for this? I was also supposed to get the credit refunded but that hasn't happened yet.
