Hold times

I have been on hold today, 07/24/2025, for 5 hours and 46 minutes. My phone was disconnected and I paid the amount due on the website. I am trying to talk to someone to see what my pay-off amount is, so I can not have Verizon as my service anymore. I've been on hold so long the music has stopped unless I press a button on the phone and then the music starts for about one second and goes silent again.

How am I supposed to get this issue taken care of, if I can not even speak with a representative?

I have been on hold for 4 days now and have not had anyone answer my call. 07/22/2025 on hold for 4 hours and gave up. 07/23/2025 on hold for 6 hours and gave up. 07/24/2025 on hold from 9:30 am est until the lines closed at 7:00 pm est, and no one answered my call. on hold again today 07/25/2025 for only 30 minutes so far, but I don't have a good feeling that any one is going to answer my call.

I posted another thread about this and received a private message response that was from someone who definitely doesn't work for Verizon based on their message.  trying to get information from me. I wonder if I go into a store and demand to speak with a District Manager, if they will be able to connect me with someone at Verizon to get my issue handled. I've been calling 800-922-0204 as this is the only number the phone will let me call.

I need someone from Verizon to answer me.

Thank you

Sorry nobody has been answering your calls, but seems like you should be able to login to your My Verizon account and look up your contract details or view your most recent bill to see what month of the contract you're on - the detailed bill will say something about x of 36 where x is your progress.  Then it would be a matter of looking up how much your device cost, and subtract out the credits you've received to date?  There may be other early termination penalty fees to pay for leaving early, so you'd have to check the fine print on your contract.
