I understand it is my responsibility to pay my bills on time, but I, like many other Americans, struggle to make ends meet. I am new to Verizon and do not know the ins and outs of the policies, or I would have made a payment arrangement before being disconnected. However, after reading many posts, it looks like you will still be disconnected even if one is made. I am disabled and live alone. The other phone on my account is my lifeline and I now am unable to reach that person and vice versa. I know they are worried sick about me. If anyone could be so kind as to send me a private message to figure out if there is anything that can be done to help me out, I would really appreciate it.

Hi, I don't know how the payment arrangement thing works fully myself. Is it that you need information on Promise to Pay, or you've tried to do it, and the system refuses to let you?

It has allowed me to set up the arrangement, but it has not and I am assuming it will not restore my services. I really just need to speak to a real person like myself. I thank you for reaching out to me.

You're welcome. Hopefully one of the Verizon reps who hang out in these forums will get back to you. I don't know all the specifics, but if you've been disconnected, would think you must pay the outstanding bill before your service can be turned back on. Can you get someone to help you?
I don't know what type of service plan you have, but if you are postpaid, you might want to consider switching your line to prepaid service, because that's cheaper. The catch to prepaid service is that it is month to month and you have to make sure you pay the bill on time every month, or the service will automatically cancel and your account gets closed. There are also many budget carriers out there.
