Do not disturb

Re: 'Do not disturb ', 'Exception List', I entered an international phone number, (England) in the Exception List but the number continues to be blocked.  Verizon says that the system will not accept an international phone number.  Has anyone discovered a way around this?

I haven't tried working with calls from international telephone numbers.  My hunch is that there is no work around at this time.
