How to get my service back?

I originally had the FiOS Triple Play, but then switched my phone service. The phone jack connected to the ONT is still there. Is it possible to get phone service online through the same phone jack?

If there is a phone number active and associated to your ONT's port then of course it should be working but if you don't have verizon anymore as your voice provider, then that jack is obviously not going to work.
