How to remove green GTE Utility Boxes from front yard (for old underground phone lines)?

We would like to have the two (2) old/abandoned GTE phone utility junction boxes removed from the front corners of our property (out near the curb). No one is using them anymore, and the boxes are in the way and are an eyesore. Thanks in advance for your help!
