No idea how to get messages from my phone number

We just moved and did not have our phone hooked up for a few days. People would call and get an answering message but I was never shown how to retrieve the messages. Anyone have any idea? At my other home we had our own answering machine hooked up and didnt even know there was an internal answering mode.

Not sure if the same as wireless. Dial your own number and when it picks up press the # and it will run you through the voice mail setup. Other than that I would say ask Verizon at 1-800-VERIZON
