Very disappointed in getting landline phone

Haven't had a landline phone for several years and decided to change for benefit of reverse 911 in this area.  Wished I didn't.  I have unplugged the phone from wall more than its plugged in due to solitation calls even though we have registered our number on the do not call list.  First night was terrible numerous calls from telemarketers.

So worst mistake made.  Everyday someone calling to sell us something or for a donation.  Phone unplugged again.

Try this. GET  a person on the phone. ask about ability to record for your records. then say U.S. code 15. title 1692. this is a sease an disist code from the us goverment about harrassing phone calls. before you know it your phone won't be ringing .
